Chicago 格式适用于哪些学科？
Chicago Manual of Style（芝加哥格式手册）是美国最权威的学术写作指南之一，目前最新版为第 17 版（Chicago 17th Edition，2017年）。
适用学科：
- 历史学（最主要）：大多数历史系论文强制使用 Chicago NB
- 人文学科：古典文学、哲学、宗教研究、艺术史
- 部分社会科学：使用 Chicago AD 的有政治学、经济学、人类学部分期刊
一、Chicago 的两种样式：NB vs AD
Chicago 有两套独立的引用体系，必须由导师指定用哪种：

二、Notes-Bibliography（NB）样式详解
NB 样式是历史学的标准。正文中用上标数字标注，详细信息写在页面底部的脚注（Footnote）或文末的尾注（Endnote）。
脚注格式（Footnote）
期刊文章脚注：
1. John Smith, “The Impact of the Industrial Revolution,” Journal of British History 45, no. 2 (2023): 123–135, https://doi.org/10.xxxx.
书籍脚注：
2. Mary Johnson, The Oxford History of Modern Europe (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2022), 45.
网页脚注：

重复引用：Ibid. 和短注
当连续引用同一来源时，使用缩写：
- Ibid.：立即紧跟上一条完全相同的来源（包括页码）
- Ibid., 47.：同一来源，不同页码
- 短注（Short Note）：再次引用同一来源时用简短格式：
Smith, “Impact of Industrial Revolution,” 130.
Bibliography（参考书目）格式
Bibliography 与脚注格式有几处不同：
- 作者姓名倒置（姓在前）：
Smith, John. - 使用悬挂缩进
- 按作者姓氏字母顺序排列
期刊（Bibliography）：
Smith, John. “The Impact of the Industrial Revolution.” Journal of British History 45, no. 2 (2023): 123–135. https://doi.org/10.xxxx.
书籍（Bibliography）：
Johnson, Mary. The Oxford History of Modern Europe. Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2022.
三、Author-Date（AD）样式详解
AD 样式与 APA 类似，正文中用括号标注 (作者，年份，页码)，文末列 References。
正文引用（In-Text Citation）
Smith (2023, 45) argues that climate policies have been insufficient.
Recent research suggests limited progress (Smith 2023, 45–47).
注意：Chicago AD 的括号内不用逗号：(Smith 2023)，而 APA 用 (Smith, 2023)。
References 格式（AD）
